ECOLAB Teat Dips provide other forms of bacteria killing germicides. Hydrogen Peroxide provides a wide spectrum of control against most mastitis causing bacteria. When combined with Lactic Acid it helps the overall skin condition therefore minimizing the colonization of bacteria on the teat surface. Chlorhexidine is a rapidly acting nonirritating germicide that is effective against Gram-positive and negative bacteria as well as some viruses. Heptanoic Acid is a fatty acid germicide that destroys the bacteria’s cell membrane. It provides good protection in cold winter conditions.
